What can you say about staying in a fabulous castle except that it was the experience of a lifetime? We usually don't stay in places like this, so we really soaked it up. The room was huge! The view could not be better! We were absolutely spoiled. Breakfast was great.

WOW, this was a fantastic hotel. The castle itself was gorgeous, but the view was simply stunning. I am so glad we stayed here instead of in Interlaken itself. We waited two years (because of the corona virus) for our vacation in this magical castle. This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful sites in Switzerland. A real castle, gives you the feeling you are a real king. All hotel services are excellent, the staff is friendly and hospitable. The continental breakfast is served in the dining room with a view of the lake We had a pampering, luxurious, and very special vacation. Only good things can be said about this magical place. Although the price is not cheap, it is worth the money. This is one of the most beautiful castles in Europe and the best service we received in Switzerland

I can't think of a single time I've been able to choose to have the included breakfast at lunchtime, and what a breakfast, a silver platter with multiple meats, cheeses and fish plus a home made buffet. Fine dining dinner was full of flavor. All the staff were super friendly, spoke English and were very accommodating. This property is incredible, not only the most spectacular location, but every detail of this historic property is so well preserved. All plumbing fixtures like shower, toilets look brand new and it's clear the property is maintained beautifully.

Stayed there for one night at duluxe room with lake view. the room position was brilliant, highest floor at castle corner — which enables the room have two balconies, facing the lake/mountain and side views separately. Room/Bathroom was super spacious, comfortable bed. A 24h lounge with espresso/tea bag. Another delightful surprise is guest can use the next door 4-star hotel (congress hotel)’s spa & sauna for free — and there sauna was the best since my Finland experience these many years

When we checked in, we were shown the room and given some helpful explanations. The castle itself is gorgeous in the most beautiful setting right on the lake with a view of the mountains. The breakfast was amazing - lots of options plus you could order eggs (omelet, bacon & eggs). The room was extremely quiet and we slept very well! We had all that we needed and more in the room. Friendly staff, delicious food, lovely location - we would definitely stay there again! As a side note, the nearby town of Thun (about 15 minutes away on foot) is a charming little place and there are a lot of excursions you can take in the mountains nearby (as day trips).
