I'm travelling capital cities of each Swiss Canton and 2 days and a night is I think good enough to visit the city center itself. There are still more outdoor places to visit like lakes valleys mountains.

The underground car park, shared with the adjacent Coop was very useful and reasonably priced but access was rather tight. The hotel room was good but lacked air conditioning. The fan provided was certainly needed! The buffet breakfast served in the ground floor restaurant was excellent. Reception, cleaning and, particularly, restaurant staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

It is conveniently located in the Rhine valley for a number of skiing resorts. The hotel is beautifully appointed inside and out and in my view offers very good value for a high class establishment. It also offers an excellent restaurant for dinner and breakfast. The staff are very pleasant and there are good car parking facilities.

Parking was always available outside and free. Part way through our stay the bathroom light bulb broke but the host was quick to respond and changed it shortly after. I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in Sion.

There’s a “common kitchen / seating area” but we only found out following morning before we left. That sitting area has a nice view as well as tables and board games.
